What this part does
The Door Weatherstrip creates a watertight and airtight boundary between the door and the vehicle chassis. It seats firmly inside the door channel to block rain, wind, dust, and road noise from entering the cabin, helping to maintain the quiet interior expected of a luxury sedan. As the rubber ages, it can compress, tear, or lose its elasticity due to friction and temperature changes. When this seal fails, you will typically notice increased wind noise at highway speeds, a distinct whistling sound, or water pooling in the interior footwells after heavy rain.

Before you order
Verify exactly which door (front left, front right, rear left, or rear right) needs a replacement, as these seals are heavily molded for specific corners and will not interchange between different doors. Before installing the replacement, thoroughly clean the mounting channel on your vehicle to remove any dirt or debris, ensuring the new rubber seats flush and prevents future leaks.
