What this part does

The Heads Up Display module projects critical driving information, such as vehicle speed, navigation directions, and system warnings, directly onto the interior glass of the windshield. It sits embedded beneath the upper dashboard pad, located directly behind the instrument cluster. When this component fails, the projected image may become distorted, fail to adjust brightness according to ambient lighting, or remain entirely blank.

Before you order

• This module must be paired to your vehicle's computer system using ISTA or equivalent diagnostic software; it is not a plug-and-play installation and will not display correct data until coded.
• Ensure your vehicle is factory-equipped with the HUD option. Adding this to a vehicle without the factory option requires replacing the entire dashboard pad and installing a specialized HUD-compatible windshield that contains a specific polarizing film.
• Check the condition of your dashboard wiring harness and the main connection plug for any signs of heat damage or loose pins before installing the replacement unit.
