Verify whether the vehicle it came from and your own vehicle utilize the DSP (Digital Signal Processing) premium audio system. DSP and non-DSP setups use completely different audio output cables (digital coaxial versus analog 3-pin/6-pin connections) which are not cross-compatible. Check the physical mounting orientation in your trunk; these units have adjustable suspension springs on the chassis that must be set specifically for vertical or horizontal mounting to prevent the discs from skipping during driving. The removable 6-disc magazine cartridge is required to load discs into this unit.
