What this part does
The rear console air vent directs climate-controlled air from the main HVAC unit to the rear passenger compartment. Mounted on the back face of the center console, it allows rear passengers to adjust airflow volume and direction. The internal plastic directional linkages and thumbwheels become brittle over time and frequently break, which leaves the louvers stuck in one position or prevents the vent from closing entirely.Fits these vehicles

Before you order
Verify the color of your existing console components, as these vents were produced in different trim colors, though black is the most common. When installing, check that the rear temperature blending cable (if equipped) inside the console is intact and correctly routed. The housing snaps into place using plastic retaining tabs—press it in squarely to avoid snapping the clips on the replacement unit.
