What this part does
The tail light assembly mounts to the rear passenger side quarter panel and trunk lid, housing the brake lights, running lights, and turn signals. It utilizes high-intensity LED elements to communicate vehicle positioning and braking to trailing drivers in all weather conditions. When the internal LED diodes fail or the outer polycarbonate lens sustains damage and admits moisture, the assembly will display internal condensation, flicker, or fail completely, triggering a dashboard warning.

Before you order
This specific unit has listed defects; carefully review all provided images to verify the extent of the damage before purchasing. BMW G11 and G12 generation tail lights often suffer from water ingress leading to LED failure. Confirm the 7-digit or 11-digit part number printed directly on the back of your original housing to ensure correct fitment, as lighting packages vary based on regional specifications and vehicle trim.
