What this part does
The front right seat belt secures the passenger during transit and includes a retractor mechanism integrated with a pyrotechnic pretensioner. In the event of a sudden deceleration or collision, the vehicle's crash sensors trigger this pretensioner to instantly spool the belt tight, locking the occupant firmly against the seat to maximize the effectiveness of the airbag system. Once a pretensioner has deployed, the internal mechanism is permanently locked or structurally compromised, and the entire assembly must be replaced.

Before you order
This is the front right (passenger side) seat belt assembly. It is critical to verify the part number against your original unit, as Porsche uses different internal part numbers depending on the interior trim color code and optional equipment like the Lane Keep Assist or specific sport seating packages.
If you are replacing this belt because the vehicle was involved in an accident, be aware that installing a new belt will not automatically turn off the airbag warning light. The vehicle's SRS control module will likely need to be professionally reset or replaced to clear the hard crash data codes associated with the deployed pretensioner. Verify that your existing B-pillar height adjuster and lower seat buckle are in good working order, as those components are typically separate from the main retractor assembly.
