What this part does

The audio amplifier receives low-level audio signals from the infotainment head unit and boosts their power to drive the speakers throughout the cabin. In the Porsche Macan, this module is located in the rear cargo area compartment, processing digital signals for the factory sound system. When this component fails, the vehicle typically exhibits symptoms such as complete loss of audio, static or popping noises from the speakers, sound cutting in and out over bumps, or an unexpected parasitic battery drain when the vehicle is turned off.

Before you order

• Porsche audio amplifiers are specific to the vehicle's original sound system package, such as the standard sound, Bose, or Burmester options. You must match the part number 95B035223 exactly to the label on your original unit to ensure compatibility.
• Installing this module into your vehicle will likely require component protection removal and configuration using a Porsche PIWIS diagnostic tool before it will output sound.
• Check the wiring harness and connectors in your cargo area for signs of water intrusion or corrosion prior to installing the replacement unit, as rear hatch leaks are a common cause of amplifier failure.
