What this part does
This is the inboard section of the rear lighting system that mounts directly to the trunk lid. It houses the reverse lights and integrates with the outer lamps to complete the vehicle's rear lighting signature. Failures usually present as burnt-out LED elements, water intrusion inside the housing, or cracked outer lenses, which can trigger bulb malfunction warnings on the dashboard.

Before you order
Verify that you require the inner, trunk-mounted lamp for the passenger side, as the outer quarter-panel lights are different components. Inspect your trunk lid wiring harness for any signs of pinching or damage before installing the replacement. While this lamp generally does not require programming, you may need to clear historical lighting fault codes from the lighting control module after installation.
