What this part does
The power window regulator is the mechanical track and cable assembly mounted inside the door shell that raises and lowers the door glass. It receives rotational force from the window motor and translates it into smooth vertical movement along the guide rails. When the metal cables fray, stretch, or the internal plastic pulleys break—a notoriously common issue on this specific chassis—the window will typically jam, fall down into the door cavity, or produce a loud grinding and crunching noise when the switch is pressed.

Before you order
This regulator is for the front left (driver) side door only. Confirm that your existing window motor is still fully operational before ordering, as regulators and motors are frequently separated and you may need to transfer your original motor onto this track assembly. It is highly recommended to inspect or replace the separate pink or red plastic window glass mounting clips at the same time, as they become extremely brittle with age and will prevent the glass from sitting securely in the new regulator.
